BECOMING A CHAPLAINS ASSISTANT

 Chaplains Assistants are officers in the USV and are known as a executive Officer in Ethics and Moral Leadership.

This specialty is open to men and women of high moral character who wish to provide religious support for all USV-JSC, Chaplains,  Volunteers and their families.

Chaplain Assistants attend a six-week course of instruction in how to support the USV-JSC's religious ministry and how to respond to veterans during their times of personal crisis. You'll also be responsible for performing administrative duties,  and providing support for the Chaplain. 

  1. Possess a valid driver's license.
  2. U.S. citizen
  3. 60 College Units
  4. Member of USV
