On behalf of Sylvia Blue and the family they want to thank you all for your love, prayers and support. Brother Blue went home to be with the King of Kings and Lord of Lords on Sunday, December 31. His memorial service will be this coming Saturday, January 6th at 1:00 p.m. in Apple Valley.

GRAVESIDE SERVICE AND RECEPTION WILL BE HELD AT THE SUNSET HILLS MEMORIAL PARK IMMEDIATELY FOLLOWING SANCTUARY SERVICE.

The Pastors Network and many, many churches and Christians in the San Gabriel Valley area alone have been touched by the lives and ministry of Sylvester and Sylvia Blue and their family. Bro. Sylvester gave up his worldly career to follow the Lord 100%. At times the burden was great. Bro. Sylvester never gave in or gave up. He shared with us many times that all he could do was to look up to the Lord and the Lord never, ever failed him.

We have been privileged to have known this wonderful Godly man of God and have had the honor to sit in the classroom as he shared from God's word, the depth, length and breadth of the Hebrew language.

Sylvester Blue is one of our nation's finest gospel singers and ministers. He has sung for Lord and Presidents, Governors and Churches all over this country. He and his family have been regulars on many many Christian television programs. Dr. Blue is founder of His Dwelling Place Church in Apple Valley. Dr. Sylvester Blue was professor of the Hebrew Language at Promise Christian University.

Sylvester Blue:
Sylvester is a humble man whose walk with the Lord has been an awesome adventure in faith. Sylvester's deep, rich-textured Baritone-Tenor has a veracity that ranges from the simplicity of spirituals to the dramatic grandeur of opera. He has an international reputation and has been the featured soloist in concerts in Europe , Korea , Canada , Israel , England and the United States . He has made numerous television appearances and has also sung at Constitution Hall in Washington , DC . He has won numerous awards including the "Southern California Motion Picture Council's Outstanding Entertainment Award."

Sylvester and Sylvia:
Sylvester Blue and his wife, Sylvia, have been in a full-time Evangelistic ministry since September 12, 1978 . Their ministry has been internationally known for over 23 years and, by God's grace, thousands have been touched in one way or another by their work for the Lord. It has been a ministry of compassion, love and caring for over 23 years which has taken them all the way from Constitution Hall in Washington , D.C. to the homeless on skid row
