Promise Christian University is honored to assist the United States Volunteer Reserve Corp (United States Volunteers Joint Services Command) in recruiting and training qualified men and women to serve as Chaplains, or Chaplain’s Assistants, and provide training in military procedures, protocol and ministering to families during times of loss, grief and dying. We would also be happy to provide a one day seminar (included in the training) on military funerals, customs and courtesies.

Promise Christian University (PCU) is recognized by the California Bureau of Private Postsecondary and Vocational Education. PCU is a Christian College specializing in the training of men and women for ministry. Celebrating it’s 7th year and 139th graduate, PCU is preparing to begin the accreditation process.

Potential chaplains would have to seek military endorsement from their denominations or from a Chaplain’s endorsing organization such as Full Gospel Chaplaincy Association, headed by Chaplain (Col). Jim Ammerman (Dallas, Texas).
