This wonderful project was initiated by Dudley and Raven Goff, Producers
of Promise Christian Live.
They have sent one container to Israel full of 40,000 pounds of
food from "Gleanings for the Hungry, " to Israel in October
2010.
It costs $5000 per container for shipping to send plus another
$5000 on the ground to store, pay for duty and entry fees. The
food is donated by Gleanings for the Hungry.
Many people do not realize that Israel has many poor and refuges living
within its borders. And Dudley and Raven's Food for Israel project
is one of the first America ministries to be allowed to bring food into
the country. As you know they are very strict.
