DESCRIPTION:

Focus on one or more "crisis issues" that families are dealing with
today.  Example:  unwed pregnancy, divorce, remarriage, homosexuality,
interfaith marriages, drug addiction, violence, abuse, strong willed or 
ADD children,  etc.

OBJECTIVE:
In this advance course on Family Ministry, your goal as a student
is to analyze the situation from a secular and spiritual viewpoint;
give biblically based and spiritual remedies and/or counsel for the situation.  
The result of your work should be a short treatise on how to generally counsel or minister to 
that particular "crisis issue" that family may be facing.

REQUIREMENTS:

1. Use your selected textbook(s) as references for your
    study of the family

2. Write a 15-20 page paper on a specific topic.
    (Organizing your thesis or research paper)

3. All completed assignments must be typewritten.

4. List 4-5 additional books as resources in a bibliography.
