So you're thinking about marrying a pastor...

The highest calling in life is to serve the Lord in whatever capacity He chooses.  You may be called to be a mother, a teacher, an astronaut or a politician which are all very courageous.

But, besides being a mom, the most courageous calling in life is to be called to be a Pastor's wife.

You cannot separate the man from the ministry.  The two go together.  LIkewise, the Pastor's wife is also called to ministry, whether ordained or not...  Look through history how Pastor's wives have succeeded their husbands in ministry due to untimely deaths the greatest example being that of Aimee Semple McPherson.

It has been said that being a Pastor's wife is like living in a "goldfish" bowl.  Thank goodness, in these modern times, the Body of Christ really has more understanding and compassion for the Pastor's wife.   But, there will be times, when you will be tempted to throw up your hands and say, "I quit."
